Countertops

Laminate

Laminate countertops have been the industry standard for 50 plus years and still make up a large percentage of the countertops that are in the majority of everyone’s homes. Probably when you think of laminate, you remember those old countertops with the metal edging or the standard “no drip” edge that was so popular for decades. They have however made vast improvements over recent years with their finishes and edge profiles which make them more appealing to the eye. The new “high definition” finishes resemble the look of granite and quartz without the cost. Our laminate fabricators are capable of also installing under mount sinks which until recent advances in laminate installation has been difficult. This new mounting method eliminates any “seams” around the sink which is common in lower quality installations. You can view a sample of this at our showroom, so make an appointment today.

Granite

Granite countertops have been growing by leaps and bounds in popularity over the last 10 years. The market for granite has become extremely competitive which has lowered the price enough that most budgets allow for this unique and sought after look to make your kitchen one of a kind. There are several different levels of granite to choose from ranging from entry level to exotic. The level is determined by how available or how hard the color is to come by. There are also a handful of edge profiles to choose from that can really accent the color of your granite countertops. Granite being a natural product does need to be sealed, however fabricators are now applying a clear sealer after installation that guarantees your granite will not stain. This sealer is also guaranteed to last for a minimum of 15 years after it’s application.

Quartz

Quartz countertops are also becoming more popular as well. The advantage of quartz is that it does not need to be sealed and is virtually maintenance free, as well as being extremely durable. Being a man made contertop, they typically consist of around 90% quartz with the rest being dyes and resins that hold it all together. We carry several lines of quartz counterops: Caesarstone, Hanstone, Cambria, Corian Quartz, LG Viatera and DalTile.
